Atkinson Library is here to serve the town of Atkinson and the surrounding community. We hope to edify those around us with access to learning and fiction that will enrich lives. We offer free WiFi and computer access.

Book Selection

At Atkinson Library you can get out of the heat and curl up with your favorite book. We have several popular series such as Outlander and the Sookie Stackhouse novels. The stacks are always changing so come back frequently as we get several hundred new books every few months. We also have a large children's section with over 2800 books, so bring the kids. We now have a selection of graphic novels.

Internet Access

Do you need to do research for a school project or job? Or do you just want to surf the net? Come to Atkinson Library and use one of our 7 desktops to access the information superhighway. You can also bring your own device and connect to our free WiFi. We also offer printing and copying (for members) at 25 cents a page or 5 pages for a $1.00.

Membership Information

For access to all this luxury all you need to do is get a Library Card. The price is extremely affordable at $3.00. Proof of residence is required as Atkinson residents cards are valid for 5 years while out-of-towners must renew every year. If you don't want to join the Atkinson Library we offer a $1.00 guest pass for the use of the computers. We are now offering a family special. For just $5.00 get your whole family access to the wonderful world of literature. (Atkinson residents only)
